Why Spectrum?
The Benefits of Home Hemodialysis

Enjoy the normalcy of your schedule and lifestyle despite dialysis. Treat on your own time, not a clinic's schedule.
Friends & Family
Be present for important milestones like birthdays, reunions, and daily moments like cooking and morning walks.
Feeling Better
Shorter but more frequent treatments mean patients feel more energy, need less recovery time, and can take fewer medications.
24/7 Care
Reach a team member 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help with any type of issue that may arise.
Caregiver Options Available!
If you are unable to have someone train to give you dialysis, caregiver options are now available. Spectrum Dialysis is the first company to offer this service.
Say goodbye to the transportation burden. Home hemodialysis eliminates the need for in-center visits, reducing your risk of community infections (flu, MRSA, hepatitis, etc.) and giving you back your time.
What's the Process?
Getting Started is Simple
Site Assessment
We send someone to assess your home to ensure it's adequate for treatments. All that's needed is a cold water tap connection and an electrical outlet!
Insurance Approval
Currently accepting all Medicare and Medi-Cal patients. (No Kaiser Permanente patients at this time.)
Spectrum-Provided Training
At-home training with Tablo’s intuitive touchscreen interface — with animations and step-by-step instructions guiding you through every treatment. Most patients learn all device-related activities in less than 4 training sessions and can resolve an alarm in under 5 seconds.
Then you're at home running your own hemodialysis on your own time.
What's the Timeline?
Fast Turnaround
About a 2-week turnaround from site assessment to having training provided and being ready to dialyze at home.
If you cannot provide a caregiver, we are the first company able to provide one for you.
